Managing Crop Moisture
This year, there were several factors that greatly influenced our harvest start date. We’re in a wind tunnel in our area, and over the last 3-4 years, we've had a much higher likelihood of corn going down, so our belief is ‘get it when it's standing.’
KENTLAND, IN (April 15, 2015) – The Oklahoma Panhandle State University (OPSU) Crops Judging Team has placed second in the national North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture (NACTA) contest held in Moline, Illinois. AgVenture of Nebraska Seed Partners (AVN) has offered their congratulations to the team which includes Willem Pretorius, a senior at OPSU majoring in Agronomy.
