KENTLAND, INDIANA (June 23, 2015) — AgVenture GroMor, an independently owned and operated regional seed company based in Ames, Iowa has extended its reach eastward. The growing company has hired Jason Hosek of Anamosa to serve east central Iowa customers as their AgVenture Yield Specialist.
AgVenture GroMor CEO and General Manager, Jim Groepper said, “Jason has dedicated his career to providing growers with economic and agronomic education to secure their profitability. His experience in agronomy, farm financial support, seed and entrepreneurship make him a uniquely qualified team member. He brings professionalism and leadership to our customers across eastern Iowa, allowing them to improve their profitability.”
Hosek served as an agronomist for a retail cooperative across a broad Cornbelt territory, managing independent seed sales, fertilizer and crop protection products. Previously, he served as a financial advisor and marketing specialist with a leading financial consulting service, supporting farmers in risk and planning management.
Groepper continued, “We are deeply committed to delivering the tools and techniques our customers need to improve their profitability. In times of tight margins, increasing yields is the first step toward securing profitability. Coupled with advice and support in the field, we do all we can to help each customer assure those goals are achieved.”
AgVenture GroMor has a dedicated, one-on-one professional support relationship with their customers according to Hosek. He added, “As in the financial business, managing your crop production for improved profitability requires careful benchmarking of every function you do, and an honest look at what you are not doing that precludes you from maximizing yields and profitability. Our Maximum Profit System™ (MPS) is a systems-based approach effectively helping growers achieve higher yield goals, lower cost per bushel and improve overall profitability. It is an approach that has proven its worth on farms across our area.”
AgVenture GroMor opened their doors in 2012, serving producers across central and east central Iowa. Groepper says, “We provide our customers with access to top quality seed products that are specifically selected and locally adapted to their growing environment. Our seed quality standards are among the very highest in the industry. Coupled with year-round access to professional support, we help growers implement the latest in converging technologies and seed genetics and traits. We’re confident Jason will be a valuable asset to eastern Iowa growers.”
Hosek and his wife, Amy, have three sons and are actively involved in the Anamosa community.
