Grower profitability at core, Dulaney Seed staff sharpens skills in technical conference

CLARKSDALE, MISSISSIPPI/JOHNSTON, IOWA (August 11, 2016) – "We are moving forward and making strong progress in advancing yields across the Mid-South." That was the message from Dulaney Seed, Inc. President, Terry Dulaney at their recent agronomy and sales technical conference held in Oxford, Mississippi. AgVenture Yield Specialists, sales and marketing team members from across the MidSouth joined together to sharpen agronomy and sales skills during the intensive two-day conference. Dulaney Seed General Manager, Charlie Robinette said, "Our goal is first and foremost to help our customers get more profitable results. That is why our staff is constantly involved in ongoing education. Environments, management techniques, production practices, and other factors are constantly changing. At the same time, so are seed products, seed treatments, and the fertilizers and crop protection products we integrate into our production systems."

Robinette said "Our AgVenture Yield Specialists are uniquely equipped with cutting-edge tools and techniques to support our customers in their operations. It takes a commitment to an integrated approach to continuously improve, and to reach new goals in a farming operation. We work to assure that our staff is ready – providing the specific in-field support and strategies that enhance yield and profitability throughout the growing season." Dulaney Seed participants heard from AgVenture, Inc. staff, and industry experts including Rod Osthus, of RC Thomas Company, the top seed sales training and consulting firm in North America. Thomas presented insightful topics to help AgVenture Yield Specialists provide the best in customer care in a fast-changing marketplace. Certified Professional Agronomist, Paul Bodenstine with Ag.Systems focused on the most current production techniques in corn, soybeans and wheat. He focused on maximizing yield potential by minimizing the crop's limiting factors.

But what's unique is our commitment to see the crop through to harvest.
