Fungicide Efficacy for Control of Corn Diseases. Developed by members of the Corn Disease Working Group. Compiled and published by Kiersten Wise, University of Kentucky.

The efficacy of fungicides in controlling corn diseases is a topic that has been widely debated.

Many factors influence a fungicide product’s efficacy. Factors include the timing of the application of the product, rate, application method, and level of disease infestation in the field being treated, etc.

The Corn Disease Working Group has prepared a chart comparing differences in efficacy among several fungicides products that directly compares products in field tests using a single application of the labeled rate. While not an inclusive list, the table provides a reference of several fungicides tested in multiple years and locations.
