AgVenture® Pinnacle™- Ames welcomes new Yield Specialist to the team
AMES, (IA) (December 1, 2017) Hardin, Grundy and Marshall county area farmers have a new resource for premium quality AgVenture® brand seed products and year-round professional seed services and support. Kendall Valde is joining AgVenture® Pinnacle™-Ames as an AgVenture Yield Specialist.
AgVenture Pinnacle-Ames is committed to providing customers with locally selected and adapted hybrids and varieties, with the industry’s highest standards for seed quality.
"We are very pleased to have Kendall come on board,” said AgVenture Pinnacle-Ames General Sales Manager Jim Groepper. “He will provide farmers a great deal of experience and expertise in the crop input arena having worked and lived in the area most of his life."
Valde spent his youth with his grandfather and uncle, both of whom farm in Hardin County. Valde says he treasures the time he spent with both of them and riding the combine with his grandfather.
“I’m thrilled to join a company like AgVenture,” said Valde. “It’s a company that is not just out there to sell a bag of seed, but a company that is there to help farmers.”
One of the ways Valde and AgVenture Pinnacle-Ames will work with farmers is to help them implement the Maximum Profit System™ (MPS). MPS is a systems-based approach to dramatically increasing yields, while lowering a farmers’ cost-per-bushel investment and improving overall profitability. The comprehensive approach helps growers farm smarter using cutting-edge tools and techniques that go a long way toward raising a top crop, implementing the agronomic and economic decisions that maximize profitability.
Valde earned his associate degree in Ag Business from Hawkeye Community College and has previously worked in sales agronomy.
