AgVenture D&M welcomes new Yield Specialist to the team
KENTLAND, (Ind.) (December 18, 2017) AgVenture D&M, based in Kentland, Indiana announced today the hiring of Jordan Bartels as an AgVenture Yield Specialist to work with growers across West Central Illinois. Since 1993, the independently owned and operated Regional Seed Company has provided AgVenture® brand seed products supported by agronomic knowledge and personal service to customers across northwest Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
“Jordan is a great addition to our team,” said AgVenture D&M owner Mike Davis. “His extensive experience in seed sales coupled with the AgVenture seed quality which is backed up by our rigorous testing process and Regional Seed Company (RSC) acceptance standards are a great combination for our customers.”
“I believe the manner in which the seed is selected, based on the results of multi-year testing in local fields and soil types, allows us to make recommendations to our customers that is backed up by solid national, regional and local testing data,” said Bartels. “I’ve sold seed from Effingham to Havana and Carlinville to Bloomington so I can appreciate the importance of providing seed that is carefully chosen based on local soil, weather and growing conditions.”

Bartels grew up in Chandlerville where his family worked in logging and sawmilling. He started his own cattle herd as a Future Farmers of America SAE project. Bartels holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business Management from Western Illinois University in Macomb.
